Summer vacation is almost here

Last week of the school year!

Claire and Emma will be spending all their time with Momma. I have tons of stuff to do. - I say this every year and none of the work gets done. So I won't even go there-- I'm determined to get something done.

An afghan for Gram

June 1 already!
I went through my notebook and saw the AA free pattern I'd printed out a while ago - Nosegay - a beautiful afghan and looks perfect for Gram's new room. I have some of the yarn maybe a quick trip to Wally World and I can get started.

OK, maybe finish something then a trip to Wally World.

Crochetville.org

I'm a member of a great CAL (crochet-a -long) called Snowflake Monday's.

Every Sunday evening one of the group members finds a free pattern for a crocheted snowflake on the web and posts a link for the group. This is week 21 - May 25, 2008
When I started this CAL I thought - "Piece of Cake - who wouldn't have time to make a simple snowflake every week?" I was way wrong. It's been a real challenge to keep up! I finally caught up last week. Here's what I've made so far:

Journal

Welcome to my blog.

This is where I keep track of projects, make notes, and post my pictures.
You can like it or not. It's my blog.

Jeanne and I returned from our road trip last Friday. We had a great time but it was over way too soon. Now I need to plan some thank you gifts for family and friends to repay their hospitality.

1. Elaine and Midnight
I was thinking pillows with a crochet panel and
dog bone placemat for Midnight.

2. Tom, Sue, Bob, and Fat Cat

Snowflakes - lots of them and another placemat

3. Snook, Bob, T2, and Khyber

Placemat, kitty tunnel, and two lapghans.

Looks like I need to get busy.
